So we got the transcript of the last conversation with S and the 3-way call. Apparently biomom was briefly on the call... D didn't say much though oddly said twice he wasn't learning English, probably cause he isn't in English class right then. Ukraine gma and biomom clearly haven't spoken to D enough to realize that his communication is limited. Even stuff like are you in school... well it is Saturday, so he answers no. Most of the time D just didn't respond.
Aunt on the other hand did well talking to Dennis and noted he even speaks Russian now better than when he was there. If true it's probably cause he's enjoying himself, working on speaking specifically (even if in Englsh), and healthier.
So now we have to figure out what to do. Need to talk to Melissa about it. We will probably have someone call with us this week and tell Snezhana we want to be the ones calling gma and aunt (?) so as not to lead to the confusion of Saturday. Also, that we don't want him talking to biomom... though we were just going to have him talk to gma, clearly D does well with his aunt and we are [probably] ok with that.
