i don't know if all orphanages look alike, but that room you are in with the orange carpet looks so much like the "performance" room where our girls lived in Makeevka.

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that they considered them old enough to make their own choice, as if they are mature enough to make a good choice. They don't even know what a 'real' family looks like:(

We were surprised they asked too. The inspector said there was an old law but now they ask everyone over 2.
ReplyDeleteI know this is an old post, but when we adopted Alex (he was 2.5) and they did not ask him if he wanted to be adopted. It was only up to us. I wonder if this is a regional thing?
