Note to son

Not sure what you were used to but, as a rule, constantly yelling you want you bicycle while in timeout is not wise. It neither satisfies the timeout or gets the bicycle.

I think we are into age 3... good that Melissa gets to enjoy this one first hand :)

  1. I drug it out pretty long and then went for a shorter second course. I think he was trying to see if he could get anywhere with mom home since I've dealt with most of the discipline with him.

We did eventually get going in time for BBQ chicken for dinner. He was definitely happy with that one... we are cooking a cake right now... I will admit I cheated and didn't go from scratch on that one... humorous note, Dennis got to turn the kitchenaid on and just as I was saying "only a little", he pushed it on a higher setting and we all (Ashley, Dennis, and I) got covered in cake mix. It was quite funny.

  2. You mean "he" drug it out pretty long the first time? The 2nd time he was just too tired to fight quite as much and just decided to assume the fetal position on the bench until almost dinner time.

  3. Yeah, blogger doesn't let you edit comments so I figured I'd leave it with the other typos.
