Kyiv - Day 4 (Friday)

So, quite and mostly uneventful day. We were not able to sleep very well last night and woke up at almost 10am this morning. We were not needed by N at the embassy today, so we basically hung out at the apartment. We walked to McD's for brunch and used the internet access there for about 2 hours. We lost our internet connection last night and had to wait for the service provider to fix something. We have it working now - about 8pm on Friday - spotty at best, so we're not sure how much longer we'll have it.

We got our paperwork from SDA and we talked to Snezhana, both of us and a translator. We have her friend's cell phone number now so her friend sends us a text and we call.

Brian's kicking me off the computer now, so I'm uploading some photos and I'll see if I can post more later!

  4. Enjoyed the picture of the Globus mall. We had our Thanksgiving meal down there in the food court in 2008.
